Para Rowing Foundation’s mission is to to create and enhance opportunities globally for athletes with disabilities in the sport of rowing. To further support para rowers in the pursuit of THEIR excellence, PRF is thrilled to offer a training intensive for para athletes in Portugal, March 18-24, 2023.
Para rowers must dedicate a great deal of energy and attention to addressing finances, finding para-experienced coaching, proper equipment, and transportation, which keeps them from the task at hand ... TRAINING. PRF's approach is whole athlete, meaning we address any element that affects the ability of the athlete to perform at their best.
PRF whole athlete support includes:

Athlete-centered intakes that inform coaching, equipment, and resources

Accessible athlete transportation to and from the Lisbon airport, room and board, equipment and coaching

High performance para coaches

Travel assistance upon request. Grants for travel expenses to and from the training, including airfare

Individualized fittings and real-time adjustments by a boat master
